72 Blue Founder and President, Mark Porter, first saw a need for a good cup of coffee while living out of a backpack. 10 years later that original product idea (The Big Sky Coffee Bistro) has proven to be one of the most talked about and copied products in the coffee industry. It appeared on the pages of the Wall Street Journal and Playboy magazine. It’s made millions of cups of coffee all over the world. And it provided the launch pad for what 72 Blue is today.

In the ensuing 10 years the principals of 72 Blue have been awarded design patents, “Best New Product”, and “Most Innovative Product” awards to often to count.
